  Food is excellent (Earthen Handi Chicken and Authentic Litti Chokha).  Food is cooked on order basis so make sure you order your food  before you reach there. Only downside which I found is lack of space.

  Rare to find a place in Mumbai that claims to be authentic and really is authentic. The taste of their mutton took me back 20 years in time, when I actually had Champaran style mutton in Bihar. Not to be missed!

  Rude and Unprofessional

Ordering Experience:
Ordered ghee litti from Mira Road outlet. (Coincidentally the outlet is in the same building that we stay). This was the first time we ordered from the outlet, was assured 30minutes for delivery.
After 45 minutes of non delivery called restaurant. The receiver of the call was utmost rude and unprofessional. Verbatim "ek ghante toh lagega" and started shouting at his staff "adha ghanta kyun bolta hai customer ko... Ek ghanta bola kar..." This while the call is still on. (It was not a langar, it was a paid order)

Delivery Experience:
The order was delivered in about 55 mins. Add to it delivery charges. (same building). When asked, reply was "restaurant policy."

Taste:
Nothing out of the ordinary. Infact the roadside 'thelas' serving litti chokha tastes the same, at less than half the cost, as is delivered by this outlet.

All in all not recommended, not due to taste but due to unprofessionalism of the outlet person.

After reading the owner's reply:

A simple request is to get the facts right before replying and to take feedback to improve services  and not get defensive

1) Clearly mentioned Ghee Litti Chokha which cost Rs. 69/- per plate.

2) Order was placed at the outlet at 7:55pm and with clarity that it will be delivered upstairs. Menu was handed post request.

3) Coming down and taking the order is customer  choice. If the outlet cannot deliver, it should be specified. Order may or may not have been placed depending on convenience.

4) Saturday evening load condition should be enough indicator to not accept order that cannot be fulfilled. There was no expectation of a dedicated delivery guy.

5) While the roadside taste was compared with the outlet, thanks for bringing up the "serve you home", "seated in an ac restaurant" and "packaging"....
A) If one were to have food picked up from any eatery then there would have been no question of ordering at your outlet.
B) The food was ordered for delivery and not seated at the restaurant. So technically no "AC" or utilization of outlet facilities.
C) Food Packaging is better at your outlet, no doubt, hence the cost is three-times that of the roadside "thelas".

6) Freshness and faster delivery from the outlet both were missing and hence the comparison with the roadside "thelas"

7) The reply posted by the "owner" is simply a reaction and a defensive one to the review, not grudge. Additionally, the reply is unprofessional and uninformed.

I still maintain my stand of the rude and unprofessional behaviour of the outlet, which is evident not only in the service but also the reply. (Reply by "owner" posted in google also on WhatsApp). Definitely Not Recommended

  The food and hospitality here has no match . All the food items specially Mutton and Chicken Champaran has a taste of heaven. Caution :- you can't eat it just once. :)

  very tasty food..if you people looking for tastys n hygiene food so u can choose Earthen kitchen any time.. I feel its like mom hand food...i mean it..try it if u still looking for some tasty food..me my friends my brother...jisko khana pasand aaya mere hath ke alawa toh Earthen kitchen ka....nice

Litti has two variants: stuffed and plain.

Meal combos with mutton or chicken come with plain litti by default.

Stuffed litti can be requested for an additional charge (refer to the Sides/Extra menu).

Our signature Champaran-style meat curry is cooked in traditional earthen pots for authentic flavor.

You can customize the spice level: Mild, Medium, Hot, or Extra Hot.

Extra gravy is available for an additional charge of ₹50 per serving.
